Episode One~

Standing outside the Big Brother Starz house was a surreal experience. I started thinking about the first time I stood in front of it and the crazy emotions that I had stirring up inside. This time though it was even worse because I started to realize what I just got myself into again. lol.

Penn came on the loudspeaker and announced to us this seasons first twist. It's the Sweet vs. the Sassy! I like the twist because I think it kinda automatically draws a line in the sand of who was a good guy in their season and who was a bad one. I personally think I'm a good girl, but apparently production thinks differently. lol. I think being on the Sassy side is a lot more fun though. I mean its so much more fun to be labeled bad then good. lol. So I'm good with it for now!

Each group was called into the house and had to pick a bed. I chose to between the President of the United States and Captain America. It just seemed like a really secure and safe place to be. lol.

As I looked around in the bedroom I started to realize how I'm surrounded by people from my season that I don't like. lol. I mean I have Adam, Sean, and Nicki who were all aligned together on our season. Then I have Lindsey who I never really enjoyed much, but was forced to align with in my season because I had no one. So I'm not feeling incredibly safe with the Sassy bunch right now. I know that I need to get to know the people outside of my season and start building new relationships there otherwise I could be one of the first to go.

I plan on playing a little differently this time. I am going to make sure that I'm fully engaged with everything and not kinda flying as far under the radar as I did the last time. I think a lot of people are entering this game with big targets on their back and I don't think anyone is particularly worried about me except maybe Adam and Sean.

I do plan on being fake with some people this season. lol. Last time being honest didn't work out too well for me and I have no problem lying to some of these peoples faces if it means getting ahead in this game.

I would say after this first Diary entry Ive come to realize why I'm on the Sassy faction now. lol.

So you actually want to make sure you are friendlier with the other faction, in my mind

Mikeispretty much the only person from my season that I'm genuinely happy to see. I'm really glad he's here, but I'm sad that were not in the same faction. I believe that Mingin has my back in this house and I have his. Mingin brought up some great points though about how we can't count out the people not in our faction. They will ultimately also have a decision in who stays and who goes when it comes to the final vote. So in a way the other faction is just as important if not more important then the one that you're grouped in.

I've realized that maybe getting along well with all the Sweet people and having them believe that I'm in the minority in my faction could work to my advantage. I don't see myself being in a majority alliance over here, so I should really try to build up as many relationships as I can over there to keep myself safe in a voting situation.

Evan being in the house is a great thing for me because Evan and I have been friends for awhile now. I know that he is someone that I can trust and will have my back in this game. He's also a great competitor and strong strategically. So having him on my side and in my faction is a great advantage for me. The best part of it all is that no one should suspect us being together. There is no traces that anyone can really discover to figure out that were friends. So as long as we keep these low key and don't expose ourselves..I really think we could have a secret alliance that could go far together.

I needed to shake up this house because right now despite having this medallion around my neck I'm still not very safe. So I need to get the people who are sitting comfortably in a bit of a rough patch so that the dynamics of this house can begin to change in my favor.I clearly used the Power of Veto to save myself. I felt it was important for me to guarantee my safety. There was no way I wasn't going to use it and I think everyone in the house knew that.

Right after Adam and I began talking and he started of course going on a tangent about how just because I'm safe this week doesn't mean I'm going to be staying here for very long. So I decided to tell everyone openly while they were still in the living room about the things Adam says to me on daily basis. So after I did this Kate and him began of course attacking me and defending each other. I was standing their with a smirk on my face because they fell for my trap. I put the two biggest offenders in this house on the defense. Now they're clearly showing their true colors to everyone and being exposed little by little.

I'm really glad that James is in this game. He's certainly someone that I feel has my back and could win this first Head of Household competition. I'm really feeling like this first competition is going to set the tone for the way our faction works in the next 3 weeks. I hope that someone like Evan, James, or Myself wins it. I'm starting to feel better about my position on this faction. I should have Evan, James, and Lindsey on my side. I probably have Adam and Sean against me. So that kinda leaves Barack, Kathy, and Nicki in the middle somewhere. I just want tot make sure I avoid going on the block the first week. I want to go a lot further then I did the last time and I'm going to work harder to make sure that happens.

Last night Barack and I were discussing how we felt like the luxury items might mean something in the game. Today, we discovered that our suspicions were confirmed. The first letter of each item spelled "Take Bed Two". The person who was in Bed Two would win a Diamond Power of Veto. All I was thinking to myself in that moment was "Omg who took Bed #2". Of course of all people it had to be Sean. Sean is pretty much the one person that I want out of this game more then anyone. I want him out even more than Adam because I see Sean as such a follower and sheep. Him having the Diamond Power of Veto is not good for my game. The negative to him having it is that he can't compete for Head of Household for the first two weeks and he can only use the Diamond Power of Veto in the first two weeks.

Regardless of Sean being able to compete for Head of Household it really doesn't matter. He's going to be able to pretty much decide one person who is getting off the block and one person who is going up on the block. I need to make sure I'm not that one person going up on the block. The only way I see avoiding that is to suck up to Adam and hope Sean is still following him like he was in Season 2.

I can't let Sean know I want him out of this game otherwise he's going to be able to take me out of this game for a second time.

Today we all were brought to the backyard to compete in our first Head of Household Competition. Going into the competition I knew that I didn't want to win it. Despite feeling like I have some enemies in this game, I would rather them believe me to be their friend now. Winning Head of Household this early would only allow them the knowledge that I'm after them. So right now I would rather just lay low and build positive relationships instead of making enemies so quickly.

Our Head of Household competition was a game of chances. Each of us were given 5 chances that we could choose to keep or distribute to members of the opposite faction. The twist was that the chances that we had could be used for something in the near future. So holding onto your chances could help you gain some sort of power, but it would given you negative points towards being Head of Household.

I chose to hold onto all my chances because I'm not trying to expose the relationships I have in this game. I would rather throw the Head of Household competition and not show my cards right away.

Barack ended up winning Head of Household which I'm not sure how I feel about that. I mean its much better then someone from my season winning, so in that case I'm happy, but I have no idea what he would do. So I need to make sure I talk to Barack before nominations are made because I'm not trying to be on the block the very first week. I need to fight harder this time to get further in the game.

Tonight we all were gathered into the Living Room where we finally were able to know what these "Chances" would all be about. It just so happens that at the Final 10 a lottery will be drawn with our names. The amount of times our name is put in the lottery is determined by the amount of chances we have. If we have been evicted before the Final 10 and our name is chosen in the lottery, we will have the opportunity to come back into the game. If were still in the game and our name is chosen in the lottery then we will have a Diamond Power of Veto that will remain secret.

So I'm thinking I was wise holding onto my 5 chances. lol. The only other person to do that was Chris. So right now we would have the highest chance of having our name drawn. I like the twist and think it will shake things up at that point whether someone comes back in or someone wins a secret Diamond Power of Veto.

I made sure that I went up to the Head of Household room and talked to Barack. I wanted to make sure he knew that I'm not coming into this game with much support from my season. I know that people have been looking at the Sassy faction and taking note that it comprises of more than half of Season 2 players. I wanted to make sure Barack knew that I had no intentions of working with those people, but they probably had plans to work with one another.

I think Barack won't nominate me, but he also never told me who he would nominate. I feel like Barack won't nominate Sean because he has the Power of Veto or Kathy since she's from his season. I also believe he's friends with Adam. So that only leaves a couple of people left. Ideally I would want to see Adam and Sean on the block, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen. I can only hope I see my key come out of that box tomorrow morning.

Sitting down for the Nomination Ceremony I was a little bit nervous. I'm not really sure what Barack is going to do and that makes me kinda question where he really lies in this game.

As the keys were coming out of the box one by one I kept waiting to see mine hoping it was there. Thankfully it was and in the end Nicki and Lindsay were nominated. I'm not crazy about the nominations, but they could have been a lot worse if Evan or James was on the block. So I'm not really upset with them. Clearly, if the vote was today I would vote Nicki out. I would rather have Lindsay here just because of our past alliance and the fact that I know she will always be a target in this game. Nicki is a lot smarter then people give her credit for, but she can't be trusted.

Everything can change though as Sean has a Diamond Power of Veto and we have a Power of Veto Competition to play in. So I'm by no means safe and I would like to win the Power of Veto this round just to make sure Sean doesn't try to backdoor me.
