I'm excited to see this go down. I am sure these first 3 weeks will be insane and I don't even trust any DR entries because things WILL change depending on who wins HOH and how the DPoVs come into play.

I'm actually disappointed in Debra, you would think she would think everything through. It seems she has forgotten about the possibility of going up due to the DPoV. That in itself is a good reason to try to win HoH. Only other explanation is if she's wanting to win next week instead of this week.

Pretty obvious no one would use the pov first week. Doesn't seem like I missed out on too much before I signed up for the board. Now ready to see who gets evicted first. Mwahaha. My favorite. |

Honestly, this week was kinda boring as far as game play. I think people are just lining up their cards though. 18 is a big cast, and it's not really easy to make anything big happen without gambling on the chance that you don't get enough support. But really, any of these players could take this game, so just surviving a round is huge because it could be you leaving at any time. I think that Mingin and Lindsay are both comp threats, whereas Baldwin is a floater threat and Nicki a social/floater threat. So, any of them leaving can be put into a good light for the rest of the players.
Early predictions since voting hasn't started... Lindsay and Mingin will leave. Kinda sad since I really wanted Mingin to do well this game. I think he had too much of a bad rep coming into this. But also, I don't think that a lot of these players realize just how good he can be at comps when he hits his groove. He hasn't exactly had many opportunities to prove himself in Starz like he did in my previous game. As for Lindsay, she's definitely a good character for the game. And she's super dedicated. I think that, of the entire cast, she was probably most looking forward to this. *sigh*
On the other end of the coin, I think I'd prefer to see Baldwin go. I don't see him as one to really bring much umph to the season, kinda like in season 3. He got far, but he was kind of forgettable. If that's his same plan this season, then I'd definitely prefer Mingin over him. And then Nicki.... well, she's just Nicki. Kinda crazy. Lindsay would do more strategically, but Nicki stirs things socially. Hard to decide which one would add more entertainment in the end. If Lindsay does stay, she'll remain a target. Nicki could easily slide back into a floater role.
*shrug* just my thouhgts
Yay for Orlando pulling off a sweep. Pretty impressive for first round of All Starz. And Barack came so close. Will Season 1 dominate this season? It's already stacking up that way. |

Ya, I agree with you Penn. This week was pretty meh, but its the beginning of the game and no one wants to step on toes to early now. I was excited tho when I saw Mingin was going to end up staying over A. Baldwin. Not that I have anything against him, but Mingin is the coolest. Just sayin. xD Plus, I know Mingin is going to bring a lot of personality to this game.
As for Miss Lindsay leaving, I do have to say I'm a bit sad that Barack targetted her. She had a lot of character as well and her use of the word borewhore made me laugh like crazy. She will be missed and I do think she shouldn't have been the first boot. I do think that she did do herself in, in a way because of the luxury challenge because she messed it up for her side of the house. People are not forgiving, esp. not in All Stars. Nicki not leaving was a complete bust because anyone that would give up their spot in an All Stars game, doesn't deserve to be an All Stars.
Now, I'm ready to sit back and see what Week Two offers us.
