Episode Nine~

Sitting down at the Eviction Ceremony I could only hope that the vote was read 4-2 or 5-1. I was really only concerned about how Eve was going to place her vote this round and if Barack was going to use his extra vote to try and save Kathy from going home.

The vote was 5-1 though and Kathy left. I do feel bad for Kathy because I do think she played the best game she could have minus the fact that she never really opened up to me about her game. Instead she chose to run to Barack and kinda play his game and I think that's why she left the house. She started off strong and independent, but eventually looked like Barack's sidekick.

Now were down to the Final 8! I'm feeling pretty good about my position in the house because I feel like I stand in a good spot with almost everyone except for Barack and even then I don't think he will go after me if he wins Head of Household.

However, everyone was called into the Living Room after Kathy was evicted for a special announcement. Penn told us that this would be a Double Eviction week. I was not happy. lol. This pretty much could ruin any preconceived plans I had going into this next round.

Penn revealed that after our Head of Household Competition the person who won must make their nominations right away. Then this would be followed by a Veto Competition where the person who won would also have to give their decision right away. On top of all this the person who is evicted will then get to decide which 3 people are going on the block. Then whoever wins the Power of Veto must use it to save one of the three nominees, leaving us with only 2 people on the block to vote for.

On top of everything else Chris had the option of being safe from the first round of play or the second round. He decided on the first. This now has my head spinning and my stomach turning. I don't see how I get off without being nominated for one of these two rounds. The fact of the matter is now if Barack wins Head of Household he can't nominate Chris to leave which puts me as his #1 target. So everything I have been working on with him is really for nothing.

I also don't like how if you win Head of Household you're pretty much guaranteed to go up the next round because the person you nominated will hold you responsible for their eviction and put you up. So its a lose lose no matter what for me right now. If I throw the Head of Household Competition I risk being nominated by Barack and if I win it..I guarantee going up for the second round. O

Overall, I'm really unhappy right now with the game and this was the wrong twist for me at the wrong time. If I get past this week then I've not given myself enough credit for the game I've played here. So will see what happens, but I'm kinda pessimistic right now. lol.

Going into this Head of Household Competition I was literally going back and fourth with the decision to throw the competition or not. If I win Head of Household then I officially have to expose which person besides Barack is on my radar, but I also assure myself from going up this first round of the Fast Forward. However, anyone who wins Head of Household is almost guaranteed to go up in Round Two because the person who is evicted is going to hold them responsible. I decided to throw it for that reason. Sometimes you have to take risks to get big rewards and the risk I have taken in this game when it comes to throwing competitions has always paid off.

Each of us was given a board in the backyard that was a Word Search. We had to identity 18 words. These words were either the first or last name of both an evicted and current houseguest. The person who completed the word search in the fastest amount of time would be the new Head of Household.

I decided that I was going to just kinda go through each name one by one and complete it. I wasn't going to rush it and try to win.

Once the competition was over the results were revealed one by one. When I saw that people took almost 2 hours to complete the challenge I really started to worry that I might have won. lol. I mean I threw this competition and if these people were really trying then that's just sad. lol.

It ended up coming down to Barack and Myself. All I was thinking is that I'm either going to make someone upset by being Head of Household or I'm going to be nominated by Barack. Now that Chris is safe I don't see how I'm going to avoid the block this round.

In the end Barack won Head of Household. I was pretty nervous. I felt myself kinda feeling a sense of shock and that my body wasn't really functioning properly. I knew that we all were going to head back into the Living Room and Barack was going to make his nominations immediately!

As everyone sat around the table for the Nomination Ceremony I was really nervous. I really don't want to go up on the block this round. Going up on the block is just going to really make me feel vulnerable in going home right now. I don't feel like I'm entirely in the safest position when it comes to people having to decide between keeping me another person.

The keys came down to Lolly, Eve, and Myself! I was thinking that I was definitely going to be nominated. It just seems like that is what he is going to do now that he can't get rid of Chris this week. I was dreading seeing that last key come out of the box without my name on it.

However, I was shocked to see that my key was in fact in the box and I'm not nominated this week...so far. lol. Barack had decided to nominate Lolly and Eve. I am sooo happy right now. lol. Not only am I safe from being evicted at this point, but Barack nominated the two people that I have felt I needed to go sooner then later.

I'm really happy about how things are right now and the worst thing that could happen is a change. I need to make sure that the Veto is not used and the nominations remain the same. This is crucial! If I can get past this week then I can maybe survive going up in Round Two as well. I'm soo happy right now. You have no idea how great I feel right now!

I'm also now officially the only person to not be nominated in this game. I think that's a huge accomplishment and should be a testament to me playing a good social game!

Barack winning Head of Household has been actually really good for me. lol. What I've come to realize is that I actually needed him to win this Head of Household in order to give myself a better shot at winning. The reality of the situation is that Chris has a lot of power and pull in this house, more then I personally would like. I have tried to limit his power, but have overall been pretty unsuccessful. With Lolly and Eve on the block it forces him to make a decision and ultimately pick a side. Whichever girl leaves and whichever girl he votes for is going to hurt his game.

I have known that Chris making mutiple deals and conflicting deals was going to catch up to him. It seems like this is the week that it could happen. I certainly want Chris safe from leaving this game anytime soon, but I also don't want him to lose his loyalty to me. I think the great part of the alliance that Chris and I have is that no one knows about and even more so that we can both play our own games without losing trust with each other. I think that's what has made us such a good team.

My decision for who to vote for though is going to come down to who I think Chris is closer too. I need to make sure that without a doubt he's with me to the end and so if I have to vote his second closest ally out to do that..I will.

Were all ultimately in this game for ourselves and its getting down to the end here. You have to make the right moves to get to the end and there is really no room to make any mistakes.

I knew that I needed to win this Veto Competition if I wanted to keep myself safe. So this was pretty important! lol.

Our competition was to identify a bunch of different art pieces that were given a "Haunted Makeover". We had to identify the cast members from a television show in each picture. The person who correctly identified the most pictures would end up winning the Power of Veto.

I felt like I could do well in this because I do watch a good amount of television. So hopefully that would be the key to my success! I was able to identify all 9 pictures, but so was Eve, Lolly, and Barack. So it came down to a tie-breaker. Unfortunately I'm an idiot because when the question was read aloud to us I misunderstood it and ended up putting what I thought the total amount of points was with all the competitors instead of the average score.

Barack ended up guessing the closest to the correct number. So he has won the Power of Veto and I think I'm okay with that because I don't see why he would change his nominations. He has made it clear that he wants one of them gone to weaken Chris's position in the house. So everything should remain the same!

We had to immediately gather in the Living Room after the Veto Competition for the Veto Ceremony. I was disappointed that I didn't win since it came to a 4 way tie, but I didn't think the nominations would change...so I wasn't all that concerned.

Barack chose to use the Power of Veto to save Eve. I immediately froze. I could not believe that he was going to take off the person who he has made clear was a member of Chris's alliance. I knew when she went off the block that my chances of going up were very high.

Just as I unfortunately hoped wasn't going to happen I am on the block. This is the first time I'm on the block and it doesn't feel good. I would be lying though if I said I was surprised this didn't happen earlier. The truth is that I've avoided the block for a very long time and it has finally caught up to me. I can no longer say that I wasn't nominated in this game. lol.

Right now I'm not feeling exactly great about my chances of staying. I would like to think that I have at least 1 vote against me and 1 vote for me to stay. So it might really come down to a tie and if that's the case then I need to put on my Academy Award performance to Barack in making him think I would somehow not come after him if I stayed in the house. This is going to be tough because things are moving along so quickly and unfortunately for me my game has been based on timing, something I really don't have much of right now. lol.

Right now I feel like I have Lindsay voting to keep me to stay and Eve voting to evict me. So that leaves it 1-1! Now I need to at least get Holly Marie or Sausage on my side if I want to remain in this game because I do truly believe in a tie situation Barack would vote to evict Lolly over Myself.

Sausage has told me that he is going to keep me, but I'm still skeptical for some reason. I feel like Lolly not nominating him last week was picking up on maybe something they have together. I also think Sausage would be smart enough to just say he was keeping me, to avoid me nominating him if I left. So depending on what he does, if I stay it will determine how much I trust him moving forward.

Holly Marie on the other hand is such a wildcard. Lolly did nominate her last week and I would think she would understand her position in that potential alliance she has. I think it would be smarter for her to keep me around, but I don't know her that well and I'm not sure our deal is strong enough for her to keep it.

Everyone is telling me that they think I'm safe and will remain in the game. I have to say that while my gut is telling me I will stay. I still feel that lingering question mark in my head saying I might go. So if I do go it will be a shock and if I stay it will be a shock. lol. I just don't think my reaction either way will be anything but a surprise when the vote is read. So hopefully I stay! I have fought hard to get this far and don't want to leave. I want to win! I came here to win!
