Week 7 - Playing the game

So I've been somewhat of a naughty boy. I told bioth Debra and Kathy I was keeping them and had to make a decision. It was easy, the votes weren't there for a Kathy eviction so I voted the other way.

After learning about who voted with whom it was very apparent as to who would be working with one another in this game.

I'm very happy with the way this HOH went down. Chris winning means I'm safe this week and now I can try fish some info from people.

I was told by Barack that Chris would likely nominate Lindsay so I have to investigate and upon further inspection found this to be very accurate. The hard part for Chris was trying to figure out who the other nominee would be. I decided to try and put Kathy under the bus. She does have good connections and her and James are ridiculously close. James is allowed to be close with me and me alone. Sorry Kathy! If I can help it I'll help Lindsay win the veto this week. Per Barack's advice I also slightly tried to push for Sandra to go on the block but nothing would make me happier than actually getting something done this week

So James and Chris had a huge altercation when discussing nominations. Chris was worried it would get back to me and he shared it with me in a PM. I read through it and James just about went bat shit insane again. Oh Crazy James

Today I spoke with James over aim and he asked me to just post our conversation for some airtime. I played along as he told me about all the things that went on during their squabble.

James then asked me to send a PM to Chris trying to reason with him and I felt chatty so I went along with it. Here it is...

Wow, James went crazy! I knew it would happen eventually.

After reading what was said I understand where both of you are coming from.

James is in a good spot with 4 people, me you kathy and barack.
You are afraid that those other two will target you prior to James and myself.

If we want to approach this logically and realistically we cant win every competition in this game. What James is saying is not completely farfetched. Lindsay and Barack both have an extra vote that will be incredibly critical late game. Why not force one or both of them to use it this week?

Nothing raises panic more than being on the block.

From what I gather the groups thus far are

Eve Holly Lolly
Lindsay Sandra

breaking someone up is really important this round.

I definitely see what you are saying and it might be one week too early to harm our numbers. While I don't consider Kathy and Barack to be allies just like James said. They aren't our enemies at least at this point in time and if we really want to have a good shot of making it far I really think you should reconsider. Hell if I win next week I wouldn't mind putting them up but for now we definitely have bigger fish to fry. I have faith in us and know that we can make it far as long as we make sound and rational decisions. Lindsay staying is not good for anyone's game. My ideal final 4 is me you James and Lolly. everyone else can go! You are my final 2. If by some chance at final 4 or 5 someone has to go it will most definitely not be you. I am aware of how this game goes and while I've never won a game I have keen sight when it comes to seeing visible alliances and knowing when to take them out.

Barack and Kathy are strong and they will be taken care of, this week isn't the week for it though. You do not want your HOH reign to be something that upsets not only Barack and Kathy but also James. He's a loose canon and definitely someone to worry about.

You and I are both very logical players and I 100% see your thought process, next week you can't play and I hope that you see that making more enemies than needed is not ideal for the both of us.

Holly and Lolly probably won't come after you next week but you'll definitely have Lindsay and Sandra and the Survivor and James this week if you go with what you're gut is telling you. Along with both Lindsay and Barack having an extra vote.

Its a scary week! I support you no matter what decision you make. I implore you to really think about these nominations. Also if I win HOH next week I would not mind getting rid of one of those 2 that you are so worried about

Chris was glad that I took the time to talk to him but he definitely wouldn't budge. Thats fine. He still values me as a friend and if James goes this week he'll know that he'll have me all to himself. If I win the veto and pull Barack can I expect some retaliation from James? My best bet is to help Barack win the veto itself. I can't risk losing him when James is also a sitting duck.

I definitely need to re asses somethings. I need to definitely touch base with Lolly and make sure that Undead to the End is still good.

Lolly and I are in a good spot but I doubt she'll keep me as a final 2. I'm closest to Barack and Sandra now... They just both seem to trust me immensely. It sucks that they're going after one another!

Chris and I are still good too. I'm gonna tell Kathy that I'm of course keeping her. I just hate that I'll get picked off as soon as threats are taken out.
