This Eviction Ceremony had a very different feel then the first two because I felt as though this week I would finally have someone out of the game that I didn't trust. So I knew that at least I would have something good happen for me in this game. lol.
When the vote was read 7-4 I just knew Mingin was heading out the door. I felt like he didn't have the numbers despite me voting to keep him. My thoughts were soon confirmed as Penn announced he would be leaving the house. I felt sad on a personal level because Mingin is a friend, but the reality is he was not playing very smart. He very well could have been a liability for me here and on a game note I think him leaving was for the best. He will definitely be missed though.
The next vote was read 8-3 and I knew Adam was heading out that door. I just knew people were going to keep the weaker player around. Adam leaving is bitter sweet. I think he did give me information that has been useful to my game. I have to give him credit of making me aware of the large alliance that exists in the house. He was a huge threat, but at least I can say I respect him for the way he plays the game. I don't respect Sean and will be pretty embarrassed if I walk out of this house before he does. Sean didn't stay this week because he's a good player, Sean stayed this week because he's a weak player.
After the Evictions were over we all kinda knew something was going to happen. We were told when this game first started that the first 3 rounds would be based on a Sweet vs. Sassy format. So I was interested to see what was going to happen next!
Penn informed us that the factions would still be in tact, but randomized this time. I was nervous because we have no control over the new factions at all. We don't even really have a say in the matter. So I was hoping that there were the least amount of original Sassy members in my new faction. My new faction ended up being Chris, Holly Marie, James, Orlando, Sean, and Myself. I'm not extremely happy with the new faction. It really has divided up what I believe to be the two sides in this game. So Head of Household is going to be important this week because its going to determine which side keeps its members around and which side is going to have some members go home.
The twist however this round is that there will be both a team and individual aspect for the Head of Household Competition. The team that wins will each be rewarded and one member of that team will be Head of Household. The Head of Household will then have to nominate one person from each faction. So this is a little different then the previous three weeks, but a similiar concept. I just hope that whoever wins Head of Household will have a bigger target in my faction then myself.
I actually think that this twist helps my position. I think that people would more likely go after someone like Chris or Orlando before myself. I think that if someone wins who is against Debra that she will go up and out. So winning Head of Household still might not be the best decision at this point. I want to believe people don't know where I stand at this point or generally think I'm with them. Once I make my move in this game people are going to know where I stand and I still think its too early to do that. So I'm going to wait it out and play it safe until I feel like its time for me to make my big move.
I think people over estimate patience in this game. The worst move you can make is an early move. The best move you can make is when its the right time to make it. So everything for me in this game is about timing and I just don't think its that time yet with a lot of big targets still remaining in the house.
